Effective date: October 2, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to the iWawaKids iOS app published by WOLD TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (“we” or “us”). The backend content services used by the app (the API, object storage, and CDN for the game catalog, images, and game packages) are operated by Shenzhen iWawa Technology CO., LTD (“iWawa”). This policy covers the iOS version only.
2. How the iOS version handles information
To display and download content, the app connects to the content services operated by iWawa for the game catalog, images, game packages, selected content language, channel or list identifiers, package identifiers, and version information. These content services use Alibaba Cloud for API hosting, object storage, and CDN delivery. These services process network information such as an IP address only in real time as needed to service a request. They do not retain IP addresses, access times, request URLs, or User-Agent logs after the request is completed.
The app locally stores catalog cache, recently played items, downloaded games, image cache, content-language preferences, and parental-control settings. A birth year entered for the adult challenge is used only for that attempt and is not stored or used to create a child's date-of-birth profile.
The current iOS version:
- does not require an account or ask children for their name, email address, telephone number, precise location, contacts, or photos;
- does not use IDFA or track users across apps or websites;
- does not display advertising, include a third-party advertising SDK, or make advertising requests;
- does not include a third-party behavioral analytics SDK or upload behavioral events;
- does not include YouTube or a children's television feature;
- processes purchases and restoration through Apple StoreKit, and we do not receive full payment-card details;
- stores only a random salt and salted verifier for the parent PIN in the iOS Keychain, not the PIN in plain text; and
- keeps performance and diagnostic summaries only in the app container or local system log and does not upload them to our servers or iWawa's servers.
Game packages are installed and run in the app sandbox. The game runtime bridge does not provide games with a child's name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos, camera content, or microphone content.
3. Children's privacy and parental controls
We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information. Purchases, purchase restoration, and legal links are placed inside a parental area or behind a parental gate. We do not sell children's personal information or use children's information for advertising or cross-service tracking.
If a parent believes a child has provided personal information or wants to make a privacy request, please contact us using the email below.
4. Sharing and retention
The app sends only the requests needed by the content services (operated by iWawa and hosted on Alibaba Cloud) to deliver content and by Apple to process purchases. The API, object-storage, and CDN services do not retain the access logs described above, and neither we nor iWawa share iOS app data with advertisers or data brokers.
Catalog cache, recently played items, downloaded content, and local diagnostic summaries are normally removed when the user clears data or deletes the app. The Keychain PIN verifier may persist across reinstallation according to iOS Keychain behavior; it is not uploaded to our servers or iWawa's servers.
5. Security and changes
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If iOS features, SDKs, or data practices change materially, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label and obtain parental consent where legally required.
